Shanghai Disneyland Halloween 2025 — Spook-tacular Thrills Await

As the golden leaves fade and the nights grow longer, Shanghai Disney Resort transforms into a world of spooky delights. From October 4 to November 1, 2025, guests can step into a Halloween celebration filled with dress-up fun, pirate adventures, and Disney Villains like you’ve never seen before.

New Pirate Adventures in Treasure Cove

This year, Treasure Cove becomes the ultimate pirate’s playground.

Buccaneer Bash (new!) — An immersive evening event with Captain Nova and her crew. Expect live performances, carnival games, interactive activities, and themed food and merchandise.
Barbossa’s Bounty Transformation — The popular restaurant is now fully pirate-themed. Guests “board” as new recruits and enjoy brand-new dishes served aboard mini pirate ships.

Pro Tip: Head to Treasure Cove at night for the best atmosphere, when lanterns, performances, and costumed pirates bring the cove alive.

Disney Villains Take Over

Halloween isn’t complete without the Disney Villains!

First Appearance: Mother Gothel from Tangled makes her Shanghai Disney debut.
Where to Find Them: Surprise balcony appearances at Enchanted Storybook Castle and villain meet-and-greets across the park.

And don’t miss Mickey, Minnie, Duffy, and even Winnie the Pooh characters in their exclusive Halloween costumes (perfect photo-ops!).

Zootopia’s “Howl-o-ween” Returns

Back by popular demand — Zootizens celebrate the bloom of the mysterious Night-Howlers with howling, species-swapping fun, and plenty of quirky Halloween surprises.

Extended Spook-tacular Days

The iconic Halloween Spook-tacular Days are now bigger than ever:

Runs on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from October 17 – November 1.
Exclusive shows, character appearances, and entertainment across the park.
