2025 Universal Studios Beijing Halloween Scares @ Universal: Everything You Need to Know

Want to experience movie-level thrills and chills? From September 5 to November 2, Universal Studios Beijing Halloween Horror Nights returns with the most exciting lineup yet. This year’s Scares @ Universal brings brand-new haunted mazes, Death Eater encounters, nighttime parties, and exclusive character meet-and-greets that will make your heart race and camera roll overflow.

Four Spine-Chilling Haunted Mazes

This year’s scare experience is bigger than ever! Four haunted mazes include two brand-new additions that will send your adrenaline through the roof. All mazes operate during “Ghost Days” from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The House of Hua Pi ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Location: Minion Land

Inspired by the classic Chinese tale Hua Pi, this all-new maze blends folklore with eerie set design—paper dolls, altars, and haunting Chinese music. It’s more psychological than gory, leaving chills long after you exit.

Tip: Perfect if you like subtle, lingering scares.

House NO. 81 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Location: Transformers Base

The scariest of the year! Actors emerge from bathtubs, ceilings, even toilets. Don’t miss the inflatable tunnel effect.

Pro Tip: Stay close to your group if it’s your first haunted house—you don’t want to be left behind!

Jack’s Circus ⭐⭐⭐

Location: Minion Land

A lively clown-themed maze with interactive tricks. Less frightening, more fun—ideal if you’re easing into the scares.

Universal Monsters Crypt ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Location: Hollywood Area

Egyptian horror comes alive with sarcophagi, mummies, and curses. A visually stunning maze that balances fright and adventure.

The most exciting addition this year is the debut of three incredible characters taking the stage together for the first time. Emo Tu, the breakout punk-rock sensation who refuses to be called “cute,” returns with an edgy new look. Joining the lineup is Foxy Lady, Universal Beijing’s confident new stage queen who embodies the “dare to break boundaries” spirit.

But the real showstopper is HamiKuma, making his first-ever appearance at Universal Beijing Resort as a special guest from the Universal Studios family. These three icons will headline the spectacular HamiKuma Hallow-Palooza show, where they’ll battle it out on stage with their crews in an epic “showdown” filled with music, dancing, and pure Halloween energy.

My first visit to Disneyland at age 10 left me terrified. But when I returned at 17, something changed—I fell in love with the magic, and the pixie dust has stayed with me ever since. For the past five years, I’ve been running a Chinese-language blog dedicated to Disney park news and travel guides, helping non-English speakers navigate the world of Disney with confidence.
In 2023, I expanded my work to include English-language content, focusing on up-to-date guides and tips for Disney Parks across Asia. My goal is simple: to make Disney travel clear, welcoming, and practical—no matter what language you speak.
